Always wanted to learn to sew? have Nan's old machine but never used it?
This is the workshop for you!

I'll take you through the basics, how to thread a machine.
How to cut a basic pattern, and get started sewing a basic design.

Sewing machine
Sewing thread
Sewing needles
Scissors
1.5m Fabric
Guidance by fashion designer Verity Wilson

Things to bring:
- Any fabric you'd like to use.
- If you have your own sewing machine, you are welcome to bring it and I will show you how to thread the machine. Be aware that sewing machines need a service just a like a car, so if you've noticed the machine isn't sewing properly I can put you in touch with someone to service it before you come in.
